Jose brings a wealth of engineering experience from one of the world’s largest data center environments – One Wilshire. Jose helps engineer Global IT’s cloud and data center networks, onboarding implementations, policies, and network performance monitoring. Jose holds numerous Cisco and other networking certifications.
- Over 15 years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise networks and data center infrastructure utilizing BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VxLAN, and other protocols.
- Expertise with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, and ISR platforms, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and other leading network technologies.
- Proven success migrating networks to public cloud platforms like Azure, deploying SD-WAN and zero trust architectures, and securing environments against cyber threats.
- Skilled at implementing redundant network cores, resilient WAN connectivity, micro-segmentation, and other solutions to maximize uptime and performance. Mentoring skills; able to train, mentor, and assist in the professional development of colleagues.
- Extensive experience driving major network upgrade projects from planning to deployment while ensuring architecture meets current and future business needs.
